Waiheke Sea Scouts is looking for a new Keas Leaders to help run the 5-8 year old programme.
If you have a child aged 5-8 and a few spare hours each week, we’d love to hear from you!
We are a voluntary organisation – everyone is a volunteer, but we don’t have enough adults to run KEAS. If we can find an adult to run it, then yes, your kids can join 🙂
Have Fun and Feel Rewarded
Becoming a KEAS leader is not difficult, and you can have a lot of fun and get a lot out of it.
You would be supported in your role of holding the space for each weekly session. We would help you to get registered and to find additional parents who could assist you.
Each week, you would run a session of between 60 – 90 minutes for up to ten 5-8 yr olds. The session content can be anything from bush walks, to getting creative and making things at The Ship (Scout Hall). There is a weekly session plan outline that you can follow if you wish and you can add your own style to it.
