As you know the Waiheke Sea Scouts is run by a small group of parent volunteers.
We have some vacant positions – if you – or someone in your whanau would like to help for a few hours a month, please get in touch via our website or email for a friendly chat !
1. Hall Custodian
Commitment Level Estimate: 6 hours per term
Position Description:
Manage hall hire email enquiries and check in / check out any approved hire groups. Organise a quarterly working bee.
2. Grants Officer
Commitment level estimate: 5-10 hours per term

Once or twice a term, apply for grants such as:
3. Cubs Leader & Parent Helpers
Commitment Level Estimate: 2 hours per week
Position Description:
Run or help to run a Cubs section in the Waiheke Sea Scouts for kids aged 8-11. Follow an easy Programme published by Scouts NZ, make up your own programme, or do a bit of both. Activities can include a wide range from biking, walks, game nights, visits to Waiheke attractions, camping – and many others. Full support and training provided, but the ideal person will be able to help build and engage a group and have some basic outdoor / adventure / first aid skills. Especially suitable for parents of 7-11 year olds who would like to be part of cubs.
